If you’re a fan of the Foo Fighters, you may well think of Dave Grohl as your hero. However, if you’d attended their most recent gig at North London’s Roundhouse for a free iTunes gig on July 12th, you would have seen Dave Grohl putting on his most heroic performance ever. He stopped his show temporarily to throw out a troublesome fan that began fighting in the mosh-pit. Dave clearly explained that the fighting guy’s behaviour would not be tolerated!
Dave Grohl approached the disturbance as admirably as possible, the language used was rather graphic, yet effective; “Hey mothaf*cker! Stop, stop. No No No No! You don’t f*cking fight at my show, you asshole. Let me see him, who’s fighting right now? It’s that guy in the striped shirt.”
Having spotted the man Grohl continued “Hey motherf*cker look at me, get the f*ck out of my show right now.” He concluded, “I don’t put up with that bullsh*t, you people came here to have a good time and that guy can f*ck off.” The announcement was met with an enthusiastic ovation.
Within the crowds, were other music legends including Seasick Steve, Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page and Metallica.
