After eight long years, the girl group are back! Destiny’s Child has released their new single ‘Nuclear’, which is said to feature on their forthcoming album – ‘Love Songs’.
It was only last week that an excited Beyoncé took to social media site Facebook, to announce that the group had reformed, writing ‘I am so proud to announce the first original Destiny’s Child music in eight years!’
Destiny’s Child decided to go their separate ways back in 2006, in order to pursue their own solo careers. Whilst going solo, all three members of the group have enjoyed huge successes of their own.
Band member Michelle has enjoyed great success in the gospel charts, whilst members’ Kelly and Beyoncé have accumulated a string of top hits – with Beyoncé in particular reaching solo superstar status.
Much to the excitement of fans, the much-loved girl group are also reported to be reuniting live on stage for the February 2013 Super Bowl. They are expected to play their new hit ‘Nuclear’, as well as perform a medley of their greatest hits.
Meanwhile, Beyoncé has also revealed that she has been working with a number of R&B stars for her forthcoming new album. The singer is said to have been in the studio with big names such as Pharrel, Timbaland, Dream and Justin Timberlake.
The girl’s forthcoming album ‘Love Songs’ is due for release on January 29th.
