After previously being forced to cancel her tour due to a chest infection, Adele returned to Hammersmith Apollo at her very best, belting out some of the world’s favourite anthems and making what could only be described as a triumph performance.
Adele walked on stage and expressed to her fans that she’d been ‘s****ing herself all day’ and thanking them for their attendance.
Whilst Adele tugged on the heart strings of all her fans, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Adele performed hits from her hit album ‘21’, including ‘Don’t You Remember’, ‘Set Fire To The Rain’ and ‘Turning Tables’. While the singer belted her beautiful ballads in front of an image of London’s skyline, goose bumps were felt by every individual with fans and reviewers describing the performance as ‘incredible’ and ‘amazing’.
The singer was shocked when one of her overwhelmed fans fainted during her performance. The kind-hearted singer stood at the front of the stage looking concerned while waiting for paramedics to arrive, asking other fans to stand aside so that paramedics could easily get to the poorly fan.
Adele continued powering her way through some of our favourites of her singles, including ‘Chasing Pavements’ and Bob Dylan’s ‘Make You Feel My Love’ which she dedicated to her inspiration, Amy Winehouse. She returned to the stage without her shoes to perform her encore, which included smash hit ‘Someone Like You’.
The ending of the tour was magical, said many. She stood and belted anthem ‘Rolling In The Deep’, with glitter falling from the ceiling onto the stage. The singer never fails to leave fans stunned by her breath-taking talent, well done Adele, and thanks for a wonderful performance!
