‘Talk That Talk’ Singer To Defend Chris Brown In Court?

According to recent reports – it is said that Rihanna is to defend her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in court. Brown reportedly tested positive for cannabis which if is true would mean he has violated the terms of his probation. He supposedly took the drug whilst completing his community service in Virginia.
Despite assaulting Rihanna on the night of the Grammys in 2009, Rihanna allegedly is prepared to defend her ex-boyfriend in court. Compulsory drug tests are not a condition of Brown’s probation, yet a judge has set a hearing to decide whether he has violated his probation on additional matters, including; travel restrictions and his community service.
Rihanna is said to want to tell Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg that a date should not be set for a probation hearing as Brown has shown remorse for his actions.
A source has stated that Rihanna told Chris she would support him in court on November 1st and would also tell the court that Chris Brown isn’t the same person now, as he was on that fateful night when he assaulted her.
Brown was sentenced to six months of probation and five years of community service after pleading guilty to criminal assault in 2009. Despite Rihanna’s support, Chris Brown has recently become the target of a UK sticker campaign. Copies of his album have been labelled with warnings to not buy his music as the singer “beats women”.
Rihanna is said to not be concerned if she gains criticism for standing by Chris as she genuinely loves him.
